Day 6 of squat challenge 💪150 squats✅
Did everyone do the 90 squats today for the January squat challenge?
themisfitz asked: Hi! So I apologize if this is a TMI type of question, but I was wondering if you ever had an issue with missing periods (not due to pregnancy of course). You are such an inspiration to keep pushing myself to get lean, but I know that the lower your body fat percentage the higher the possibility of potentially losing your period. I was just wondering if you had ever experienced anything regarding that. Thanks a bunch!
I heard the same thing when I started getting lean.. Many girls were talking about losing their period and I was kind of expecting that to happen to me, but nope.. never once had it stop, it keeps coming every month like clockwork right on time and I have to admit I wouldn’t have minded losing it lol.. but still here along with pms!!
I asked my OBGYN doctor about it and I said I’m pretty lean, how come my period has never gone away?.. her answer was this.. “you lose your period when you shock your body with drastic changes or if you are starving yourself and not getting enough to eat.. not from simply having low body fat”… that answer made sense for me because I never took drastic measures to become lean.. it happened very gradually over the years from exercising and eating right and I always get enough to eat, so I think if its done healthy and gradually it may not be an issue.. but if you lose it go see a doctor because its not normal. Its probably people who eat like shit all year and then crash diet for a month, shocking their bodies and not eating enough that gives it the reputation..
Chili’s dinner take out (the broccoli usually looks better than that, looks kind of yuck)
