When you started working out and even now, how do you stay motivated ? I've been working out everyday and eating heathy for about 4 months( which I know is not a long time) but I feel like I'm still in the same place I was when I started. Yes I do have more muscle and I can run further. But my physical appearance is staying the same. So idk if I'm doing something wrong or what?
The longer you stay consistent the better shape u get in as time goes on.. Yes,4 months is not very long but its a great solid start :)
Keeping fit is a forever thing, so just keep making good food choices and doing your workouts on a regular basis and you’ll always be headed in the right direction! I know its hard but don’t focus on seeing some kind of huge change in physical appearance.. its such a slow process and even if you are changing, it is so slow that you won’t even realize since you see yourself everyday. Take a few pictures each week and then look back at them and it will be a good way for you to keep in check without obsessing!
Hey! You're awesome. I see your photos all the time on my dash haha. I was just wondering how old you are? And how long have you been working out?
I am 45, will be 46 in a few months… I’ve been working out non-stop since age 23. When u don’t stop it doesn’t give your body a chance to get out of shape. Most people wind up doing some kind of “on again/off again” bullshit with fitness and that typically doesn’t work.. My story including my age is listed in the “about me” section. Sadly I’m considered a freak show for being this fit at my age.. hopefully that will change in the future as people are taking better care of themselves :)
Got any motivation tips? I just downloaded Zombies, Run! for jogging/running motivation. The thing is I WANT to work out and not be out of breath going up the stairs but I'm also really really lazy.
If you really want to be fit.. “wanting to be fit” is your motivation! Because if you are lazy and skip workouts and eat like shit, you will not be fit, that simple ;) I am lazy as well but I push through my workouts and get it done because I like being fit.
